Stop the quarry at Lea Castle Farm

Please visit our website at  for more details, additionally we welcome you to join the discussion at our Facebook page.

We are a group of concerned residents who oppose the proposed sand & gravel quarry at Lea Castle Farm, Kidderminster.
Although an application has not yet been received by the local council we feel we cannot sit back and simply wait for the inevitable to happen.
Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated and put towards the forcomming campaign.

We are a small team of local residents, doing our best to combat what we perceive to be a legitimate threat to our community but we really could do with your help to get the ball rolling.

A small donation now can help make all the difference tomorrow, we are looking into activities to help with awareness and potential fundraising events. For now this and cash donations in person (please email [email redacted].uk for details) are the only 'official' method of donating to this campaign.

Although we have set the goal at £3,000 we foresee this being a long campaign, but for now we need some funds for initial phases.
We will use all funds raised to promote awareness and ultimately take measures to stop it. We would like to seek independent surveys into the impact this quarry would have, this is unfortunately a costly endeavour.
Funds remaining after the campaign is over (hopefully when the planning application is denied) will either be kept to ward of additional attempts or donated to charity.
