Next Up NYC is a nonprofit organization with the goal of providing opportunities for underserved Teenagers & Young Adults in the NYC area. The opportunities include a mentorship program, a summer basketball league, life skills training, employment referrals & college preparation. Each component of our program will be free for each participant.

 

At this time, we are asking for donations to provide a free basketball summer league and career readiness program to over 100 high school students from underserved communities in the NYC area. We have over 20 various professionals confirmed as guest speakers:  a Firefighter, MTA worker, Tech Entrepreneur, Former NFL & NBA players, and much more. The students will have the opportunity to meet with each professional, to network and gain valuable first hand knowledge about various careers.

 

Your donation will helps us provide our participants with the best experience possible. Funds raised will be used directly by the program to cover start up fees, referee fees, stat keeper, videographer & awards for our summer basketball league which will be free for each participant.

$10: Covers 1 game for One High school student

$20: Covers 2 games for One High School Student

$50: Covers half the season for one High School student

$100: Covers the full season for one High School Student

$200: Covers the full season for two high school students

$500: Covers the full season for Five high school students

$1,200: Covers the fees for an entire team (12 players)
