500 people. £10 each. One community standing together.

Feed Newport has spent more than six years supporting people across Newport through food, practical essentials, community meals, baby and family support, skills and volunteering opportunities.

Now we are asking Newport to stand with us.

Our goal is simple:

500 people donating £10 would raise the £5,000 needed to protect and strengthen our four core community services.

Newport Support Network CIC, publicly known as Feed Newport, operates from our community hub at 92 Commercial Street.

Every week, local people contact us because they need practical support, a welcoming place to turn or an opportunity to rebuild their confidence.

Our four core services are:

Food & Essentials

Providing practical food and essential-item support when individuals and families are experiencing hardship.

Community Kitchen

Bringing people together through community meals, cooking, workshops and shared experiences.

Baby & Family Essentials

Providing essential baby and family items through Baby Basics Newport and our wider family-support work.

Skills & Volunteering

Helping young people and adults build confidence, develop practical skills, gain experience and contribute to their community.

Some parts of this work currently operate without dedicated funding, while the costs of food, ingredients, essential items, service materials and operating a safe community space continue.

This campaign is not about building something new.

It is about protecting something Newport has already built.

## Where the money will go

The £5,000 raised through Newport Together 2026 will support the delivery of Feed Newport’s four core services.

Funds may be used for:

Food, ingredients and practical essential items.

Baby and family essentials.

Community Kitchen materials and consumables.

Volunteer support, training and service resources.

Essential costs connected with operating our community hub.

Money raised will be received and managed by Newport Support Network CIC. We will publish regular updates showing our progress and explaining how donations are supporting the work.

## Become one of the 500

£10 means you are one of the 500 people standing with Feed Newport.

A family, workplace, school, college, community group or place of worship could donate or raise £100 and represent ten members of the campaign.

A business or organisation donating £500 would represent fifty members of the campaign.

You can donate more or less than £10. Every contribution moves the campaign forward.

Our first milestone is £1,000.

The full goal is £5,000.

If you cannot donate, sharing the campaign with ten people can be just as valuable. Please send it directly to friends, relatives, colleagues and community contacts rather than simply scrolling past.

Feed Newport belongs to the community it serves.
