Angel Gowns GYCUK Storage and sewing space funds

Hi my name is Louise and im raising funds for Angel Gowns GYCUK for emergency storage and a new headquaters and base in Grimsby and Keelby . The funds will go towards paying for storage and rent for a new space where we can rapidly process the funeral garment sets and sew . We are hoping to have some workshops and art therapy workshops .shelving and storage boxes are desperately needed and a fold down cutting table we make free funeral garments from upcycled Wedding and Prom Dresses donated from all over the uk . We make them for pregnancy baby loss , stillborn babys , babys and children up to 18 . We send them out to hospitals hospices funeral directors and celbrants acrosd the uk . We have a network of sewers all over the uk .We also send directly to individuals and familys grieving for the loss of an angel and specialise in the really tiny items for under 24 weeks . We also make emergency wedding pakages using donations of tiaras flowers etc . We are having to move from community centre which is closing on 25th July .if we can get our items stored immiediately we can then have a collection base We have found storage but need funds to pay for emergency storage payments, shelves and storage boxes . We have also now found a space to work from .

We rely on volunteers to distribute these items and it is weather dependant, many of our volunteers have full time jobs and fuel cost impact on the speed our gowns are disrrbuted. We also have alot of volunteers who couldnt acess our previous base due to it being upstairs . Weve found a space which is ideal and also has a disabled parking space near by .
