Adopting our children

We have been a blended family for 9 years. We want to be a whole, legal unit through the process of adoption. Kristen is adopting Ken's children, and Ken is adopting Kristen's children. We are doing this for several reasons. 1. In the event that one of us should perish, the other will have legal rights to the children.  2. We want to internationally travel and do mission trips together, which isn't possible at the moment. Adoption will make it possible. 3. We are a strong, stable family with no signs of slowing down, and we want to make our family permanent. 4. We have already discussed this with the children, and they are ecstatic!  Because we are adopting each other's children, we have to file 2 separate adoption orders; one for Ken and one for Kristen. The cost is $190 per hour. Any money that we raise that is NOT used for the adoption will be donated to other families we know that are trying to adopt.  We are excited to become a whole unit family and we are thankful for anyone who helps us on our journey!
