Namibia Project (Personal Funding)

This June, I will be traveling around Namibia and Zambia as part of the ACS Namibia Project. My school has been supporting schools in Namibia since 1999 and I am very excited that I get the opportunity to be apart of this amazing service trip!
During this month I will be spending time at Kutenhoas Primary School in the Berseba region of Namibia. Whilst at this school my team and I will work to complete any renovations or work needed to improve the quality of the school. Overall trying to aid the children and staff in creating an effective teaching environment, which will help pave their further education.
My main project is with the hygiene of the students. I will be organising first aid supplies, running lessons on how to treat ring worm and general first aid. I will also be assisting in teaching and building.
My group and I will travel to NamibRand Nature Reserve, where we will work with Nadeet, an organisation which focuses on providing environmental education to Namibia children. Working with this organisation we will assist in teaching how to use solar cookers and increasing awareness about the environment.
During the month, we will embark on a five day challenging hike through Fish River Canyon, the largest canyon in Africa. We will also enjoy some rest and relaxation time.
Since August last year, the Namibia team and I have been working hard in order to prepare and fundraise for this trip.
I have already been able to raise £1,000+ through saving and alot of babysitting gigs. However, I still have some more to raise.
Please help me reach my goal!!
