My Japan Story
Donation protected
Most people who know me know I love medicine, would like to become a doctor a therefore go to medical school. Before doing this I wanted a time out so decided to take a gap year. I didn't want to waste this time and wanted to make sure it was beneficial both to my application next year and to myself also. After weeks of searching I found this opportunity. I get to spend 6 months in Japan, which is renowned for it's healthcare, volunteering as a medical assistant in February 2020. However to be able to afford this opportunity I have to fundraise. It is a voluntary position in a redcross hospital so not only is this opportunity helping me but it's also helping others who work at the hospital and those who require care. While I can fund part of this from own pocket I can't afford it all myself. Anything anyone would be willing to donate would mean a lot. All money raised will go towards flight costs, visa requirements, the program itself and other necessities. Any excess money raised after this will go to a charity. Even the smallest amounts would be appreciated and make a huge difference to me and the people I'll be helping by enabling me to go. The link for my go fund me page is below. Anything spared I would be grateful for. Thank you.
