Hi. My name is Mildred Wilson, I am 85 years old and I going to compete in my 5th Tough Mudder on April 27th in St. Louis.

I am doing Tough Mudder this year as a tribute to my daughter in law who passed away last year from cancer. She was a reading teacher who loved her students so much!

I am partnering with her school to create an area for adults and children to read together. There will be bookshelves with books, comfy seating and a beautiful mural with cats, because Tanya loved cats. There will also be a plaque recognizing her 28 years of faithfully teaching kids to read. Tanya will always be missed but her impact on children will be felt for years to come.
