Mount Merrion FC Girls 1000K Run for Pieta House

Donation protected
The Mount Merrion Girls teams are looking to raise funds for a number of local charities during the lockdown. The girls plan to collectively run/walk over 1000K in a month and while doing so raise some valuable funds for these deserving charities. Charities fundraising capabilities have been severely curtailed during the Covid pandemic so we would really appreciate it if you would support us in raising funds to help them.   The charities we are looking to support are:

Pieta House; Pieta first opened its doors in Lucan, County Dublin in 2006. Since then we have seen and helped over 58,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm. Piet.a now operate fifteen centres and five outreach service across Ireland. Pieta now employs over 200 therapists and administration staff.

Crumlin Children's Hospital: Children's Health Foundation Crumlin, formerly CMRF Crumlin, together with donors and partners fund initiatives, research, equipment and projects with three main aims:
(a) Saving young lives by funding critical research and equipment
(b) Supporting small victories everyday for children living with illness by improving their quality of life
(c) Creating brighter days for sick children and their families by funding comforts through our Giggle Fund and enhancing their environment

Show Racism the Red Card:   Show Racism the Red Card is an anti-racism education charity, established in January 1996 to harness the high-profile nature of footballers as anti-racist role models to educate against racism throughout society.
