Well, it FINALLY happened! They say persistence is the key to success, and I couldn't be a more perfect example of that! After numerous tries at a state title, three semi-finalist placements, and five runner-up placements, my time finally has come. On March 5-6, 2016 I competed for the title of Miss Ohio International in Maumee, Ohio, and walked away with the crown! It is a moment I will truly cherish forever.
With this title, I have officially qualified to compete at the Miss International 2016 pageant held in Jacksonville, Florida, at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts. There will be women across the globe competing at this event!
While I have been GENEROUSLY sponsored through Ohio International Pageants to be able to attend and compete at this event, my two main focuses over the next few months will be continuing to work with my personal platform of childhood literacy as well as covering any extra costs for wardrobe, travel, and miscellaneous expenses incurred.
One of my biggest goals is to be able to support my role as a goodwill ambassador for the Pajama Program and send books and pj's to kids across America.
