Hi, I’m Kay — a special needs mama, photographer, and advocate for creating a life that truly honors my son’s needs.
I’m raising funds to get my 4-year-old autistic son, Ziah, a sensory-friendly camper — a space that will be our home, homeschool, and healing sanctuary.
Ziah isn’t fragile — he’s bold, radiant, and deeply expressive. He stims loudly, feels everything with his whole heart, and experiences the world in powerful, beautiful ways. But traditional living environments constantly overstimulate him and ask him to be smaller than he is.
Outdoors, in wide open space and nature, he thrives. He becomes more grounded, more joyful, and more connected to who he truly is.
This camper will give us: • A consistent, sensory-safe home we can take anywhere • A peaceful place to homeschool at his pace • Daily access to nature — where he feels most safe and at ease • A judgment-free zone where he can stim freely and be fully himself. Our goal is to secure the camper by December, so Ziah can begin the school year in a space that’s built for him — not one that asks him to adapt to the world, but one that adapts to him.
Whether you donate, share, or simply walk alongside us — thank you. Your support brings us closer to stability, healing, and the freedom Ziah deserves.
