The Mercy Truck organization is a 501(c)3 organization established in 2022 in response to various crisis affecting the Philadelphia region and surrounding communities, in the aftermath of the COVID19 pandemic. The Mercy Truck stands as a symbol of hope, love and compassion as it continues to serve as a reliable and easily accessible resource for communities facing hardship.

Our mission is to meet the unique physical, mental and emotional needs and challenges of individuals and families in our communities and is achieved through a range of programs we offer at no cost. These services include:
• Distribution of grocery/food, clothing/shoes, school supplies and basic household essentials to families in crisis.
• Care for the homeless including offering fresh meals, haircuts, first-aid care, clothing, winter blankets/coats, shelter resources, counseling/life improvement resources, recovery program options.
• Fun and positive community outreaches for children and families in partnership with Community Leader Organizations utilizing our Mercy Coffee Truck, snacks, bounce houses and face painting for children, among others.

We have had the privilege to partner and serve in community outreaches alongside over 35+ organizations including the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Temple University, Covenant House, Friend's Hospital, Philadelphia Police Department, Homes for Heroes, AHARI, Bensalem Fire Department, Youth with a Mission, Intensive Prevention Services, Family Promise of Lower Bucks County, "The Huddle" in Kensington, COMHAR, Pendel Veterans Associations, and many more.
The Mercy Truck has also received the “2024 Covenant House Inc., Martin Luther King Legacy of Service Award” for its dedication and service to local communities of Philadelphia.

To date, the Mercy Truck is fully supported and operated by dedicated teams of volunteers and the contributions of generous donors. Our fleet of 4 trucks is in operation in outreaches multiple times a week.
We are seeking your support to continue and expand our outreaches. Your generous donations will ensure that resources and services we offer continue to be at no cost to the local communities in need. Contributions will assist in the following ongoing expenses:
• Costs for the purchase of food items for served cooked meals and groceries for distribution.
• Renting and utilities costs of our headquarter facility which houses our food bank and stores clothing and other items.
• Gasoline costs for our fleet of trucks for outreaches at least 2-3 days a week.
• Supplies for events such as paint, blankets, informational packets/materials, school and household supplies, food items for fresh meals served.
• Funds to hire office/administration staff to support our operations.

We hope that you would consider partnering with us in this great mission to improve the lives of many in the Greater Philadelphia communities through your monthly or one-time generous contribution.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
The Mercy Truck Team.
