We are Melanie Butler's Village.

We are her family, her friends, her church family, and the many people whose lives she has touched, whether through her presence, her prayers, or her powerful words on the page.

Melanie has been diagnosed with advanced endometrial cancer and has just begun an intense course of chemotherapy and targeted treatment. She is facing a long journey with courage, faith, grace, and her signature sense of humor, but we will not allow her to face it alone. Those of us who love her deeply and support her implicitly will be by her side.

We’re raising funds to help ease the financial burden of her medical treatments, transportation, caregiving support, basic living expenses, and holistic healing tools. Our goal is to allow Melanie to focus fully on healing, without the added stress of making ends meet.

Melanie has spent her life being a source of strength and joy to others. Now it’s our turn to surround her with that same love and support.
