My Medical Mission to Mao, DR

Greetings,
My name is Nick Zamborowski, and on August 20th, 2016 I'll be taking a medical mission to Mao, in one of the poorest parts of the Dominican Republic where the people there have little or no access to healthcare.
Among myself and other medical professionals working with Timmy Global Health, we will be helping to give sustainable medical care to the people of Mao.
Some examples of the care we will be giving are patient checkups and screenings for diseases, infections and illnesses; administering vaccinations and medications; and offering some surgical procedures such as hernia and appendix repair. Aside from procedural care we also plan on spreading awareness by offering informative health education to the people of Mao.

Mao is an urban town northwest of Santiago. Mao has some of the most impoverished people of the country. A huge problem is a lack of access to health, especially for the large population of Haitian migrants that have traveled to these areas looking for work.
With having almost ten years of experience in health and patient care, I have always wanted to use my talents and skills to help those that are less privileged. I love helping those in need and offering my assistance whenever it is needed.
