India Joze Restaurant will be closing their doors in a few weeks - forever. As a community we came together this weekend (11/13/2021) to celebrate and to mourn this end of a era. But this is not the end! Jozseph and his crew will continue catering from his traveling-trailer kitchen.
However, on the eve of the “India Joze 50th Anniversary & Thank You Santa Cruz Party” (at which over 500 people were fed for FREE) someone stole several thousands of dollars worth of equipment and supplies from Joze - including a high-end BBQ grill, several high-heat burners and their propane regulators, a standing heat lamp, a huge cooler - and, as if that wasn’t enough, 40 pounds of cleaned calamari. (If you were at the party and you wondered why there was no squid... now you know).
We are reaching out to the community to help replace these items - items that enable Joze to create and deliver the culinary magic! Let's show him our appreciation! Please donate - show your love and support for this giant of a man.
