Thank you to our fierce and fabulous Maryanne Asta, who has put her life, sleep and work on hold since November to devote herself full-time to Women's March-New York!
Thanks to Maryanne's indefatigable efforts, we had dozens of buses and thousands of New York marchers turn out in DC on Jan. 21, to stand up for the rights of ALL of us.  Since her return, Maryanne has not missed a beat, but has stepped right into the role of turning our MARCH into a MOVEMENT, organizing dozens of groups across New York (and partnering with many more), and helping to get our message out to "those who would otherwise ignore" us. She has been a beacon of light (and ENERGY) in a time that could otherwise be a bit, well, bleak. Let's show her that we appreciate her efforts, and honor the huge sacrifices that she has made. I am forever be changed by the fact that this woman, knowing none of us, on Day 1 started making phone calls and arranging buses, putting her financial well-being on the line and trusting that it would work out. Who does that?! Maryanne Asta, that's who!
These funds will be disbursed to Maryanne for whatever she needs. I will leave it open for 2 weeks.
