My name is Melanie.
I am 29 year old, a wife, mother to a 4 year old boy, and a Registered Practical Nurse.
I will be travelling to Kenya for another 4 -week volunteer project from February 1st to February 28th of 2020. While there, I will devote my time to help alleviate local poverty. I will spend quality time at the orphanage and be a French Teacher at the school. It’s been an ongoing passion of mine to make a positive difference, and for the second time, I have another opportunity!
Volunteer destination:
- Nairobi, Kenya, Africa
Flight - $1,500.00
Medical/Travel Insurance - $200.00
Vaccines - $400.00
Luggage - $500.00
Medical Supplies - $500.00
School Supplies - $900.00
Baby Supplies - $1,000.00

TOTAL ESTIMATE = $5,000
I plan on gathering supplies again to bring to my family back in Nairobi such as; pencils, crayons, rulers, paper, coloring books, bubbles, candy, Frisbees, hats, sun glasses, diapers, baby creams and lotions, formula, baby toys, kites, soccer & footballs, toothbrushes, toothpastes, and medical supplies such as medications, syringes, and kits.
Please help me by supporting my cost in order to travel and go help those who are in need!
