Food is a Universal Human Right

 

Hello. I am Laura, a professional pastry chef and volunteer for World Central Kitchen, a nonprofit organization devoted to providing nourishing meals in the wake of humanitarian crises.

 

Food relief is not just a meal that keeps hunger away; it is a plate of hope that tells you that someone, somewhere, cares about you in your darkest hour.

 

I care, and if you do too, please contribute what you can to help with my travel expenses. I am going to Pryzemyl, Poland, to cook for the Ukrainian refugees. More than two million innocent civilians have been displaced from their homes, separated from loved ones, and face an uncertain future filled with hardship.

 

Your generous donation will cover the cost of airfare, housing, ground transportation, essential toiletries and gifts for the children such as coloring books and crayons.

 

I leave in 2 weeks, so stand with Ukraine and help me help them.
