The Garrick’s Head Christmas Light Switch-On – In Aid of Macmillan Cancer Support

On Saturday 15th November, The Garricks head Moorside Road we’ll be lighting up The Garrick’s Head to kick off the festive season and raise money for a cause close to so many hearts — Macmillan Cancer Support.

This is a free family event full of community spirit, fun, and festive magic.

We’ll have:

Carol singers from local schools

Face painting & stalls

Live entertainment

Hot mulled drinks, Christmas treats & delicious food

✨ Lights switch-on at 6pm

We’re asking for your support to help make this event as special as possible — and to raise as much as we can for Macmillan. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference.

Macmillan does incredible work supporting people and families affected by cancer. Many of us have been touched by their care and compassion, and this is our way of giving a little something back.
