Serving With A Smile! is a Millennium Fellowship project by Nikita Sood and Karen Kameo, in collaboration with United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) and MCN, that was created in August 2020 in aims to sponsor accommodations and educate on dental hygiene for the highly marginalized, orphaned children. These children, taken under the Dhaka Ahsania mission, are disadvantaged and do not have family to return to.
This project will give them an opportunity to have access to education, a support system, and medical care. It will allow them to gain mentors and adult figures that will provide them with the nurturing and care they deserve. The accommodations will account for their education, meals, clothes, healthcare related items, and other necessities the children may need. The cost to accommodate each child will be approximately $50 USD. We are aiming to cover the costs for a minimum of 65 kids.
We want to support as many children as possible and contribute so they all can have the bright futures they deserve.
