It's that time of year again for MEI's Fall Fundraiser and we're going BIG for our FINAL SLIMEFEST! This year, we're changing things up. Our goal is PARTICIPATION. We want to get more MEI'ers involved in giving, no matter the amount!

FIRST, LET'S TALK ABOUT WHO WE'RE HELPING!

This year, we're supporting the Gary Sinise Foundation's R.I.S.E. Program, which builds specially adapted, mortgage-free homes for our nation's most severely wounded veterans.

We're specifically rallying around U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant (Ret.) Tyler Vargas-Andrews. In August 2021, Tyler was helping evacuate people from the Kabul airport in Afghanistan when a suicide bomber attacked. Tyler lost his right arm and left leg, endured more than 45 surgeries, and continues to rebuild his life. Tyler's story is one of incredible resilience, and his heart for serving others hasn't changed. As he says, "Helping People Is All I've Ever Wanted to Do."
