From 16–29 April 2026, I will be cycling the length of Great Britain from Land’s End to John O’Groats, alongside a good friend.
Over 14 days, we will cover approximately: 1,600 km (1,000 miles) and 14,800 metres of ascent.
We are raising funds in support of two wonderful causes:
The Masonic Charitable Foundation – Yorkshire West Riding Festival
and
Epilepsy Action
Both charities make an extraordinary difference to people in our communities.
The work of the Masonic Charitable Foundation is remarkable. Funded entirely by Freemasons, it helps build better lives by encouraging opportunity, promoting independence and improving wellbeing. It supports thousands of Freemasons and their families, while also funding hundreds of charities and community projects across England and Wales.
Epilepsy Action’s vision is simple: a world without limits for people with epilepsy. This cause is deeply personal to me as my daughter lives with epilepsy. Like many families, we have experienced first-hand how unpredictable and difficult the condition can be. Organisations like Epilepsy Action provide vital support, advocacy and education for people living with epilepsy and their families.
I have also been fortunate to support the charity myself over the past few years as both a 1-to-1 peer support volunteer and a talk and support facilitator, and I am proud to now be raising funds to support their important work.

Of course, raising funds is wonderful — but there is another small way you can help.
Epilepsy Action have produced a short video explaining how to help someone experiencing a tonic-clonic seizure. Taking just a few minutes to watch it could genuinely help save a life — or at the very least preserve someone’s dignity at a very vulnerable moment.
