Hi, my name is Martina Dimiduk-Kreger. One year ago, on September 23rd, 2024, my husband, Jacob, and I got the worst news of our lives- that our baby boy, Lysander, had passed away. Soon after I went through labor and brought him into this world sleeping. The next two days we were able to spend time with him, get photos, and say our goodbyes all thanks to a Caring Cradle . This Caring Cradle helped to keep him cool so we could spend more time with him and have the closure we so desperately needed. We wouldn't trade that time for anything, and treasure it immensely. We are so grateful that our hospital had a Caring Cradle, but not every hospital or childbirth center does.

In honor of our sweet boy's first birthday, we would like to raise money to donate a Caring Cradle to the Childbirth Center at Mercer Health in Coldwater, Ohio.

When we were reaching out to local hospitals, Mercer Health expressed a great need. As a smaller rural hospital, they only have one such device like a Caring Cradle, which is on its last legs. A donation like this would truly make a difference at their hospital for grieving parents in their most fragile moments.

We are hoping to reach our overall goal of 7,500$ by February 23rd, 2026, giving us five months to achieve this amount. 7,500$ would give us enough to purchase a full size Caring Cradle and pay for shipping as well.

We understand this is an ambitious goal, but if just 75 people were to donate 25$ a month, for the next four months, we would easily get there! Will you be one of these 75?
