Hi, my name is Lucia Hamilton, and I am writing to ask for your support for an exciting opportunity that is coming up for me. I have been accepted into a leadership training program at Camp Hickory Hill in New York. As a participant, I will learn about leadership, teamwork, and serving others. As a junior leader at camp, I will have the chance to grow and mature my faith, make lifelong friends, and make a difference in the lives of campers.

As someone who has been involved in camping and serving for most of my life (thanks to my parents), I am thrilled at the prospect of stepping out on my own to blaze my own path. I see this opportunity as a "coming of age" adventure – one that I am equally excited and scared to embark upon.

But I can't do it alone. I am looking for partners to join me in this adventure – partners who can help support me in two ways. Firstly, I would be so grateful if you could keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I step out of my comfort zone to learn about leadership, faith, and serving others.

Secondly, I would sincerely appreciate any financial support you might be able to offer. The total cost of my trip is $1950, which includes airfare, insurance, and camp fees. Donations of any size are welcome and would go a long way in helping me make this opportunity a reality.
