Hair is our business, and making a living from it makes us the perfect choice to give back with our own hair. I've been a hairdresser for over 20 years, and when I started, the chemicals we used were far harsher and less regulated than they are today. Unfortunately, this led to me developing a skin sensitivity to these products.

The downside? No more colorful hairstyles for myself. But that’s okay, because I get to live vicariously by creating vibrant, bold looks for my clients!

The upside? I can grow my hair long, completely free from chemicals, making it ideal for donation to charity. After three years of growth, this year is the time—it's time to donate!
