We hope to grow our family tree.
Adoption is our only choice
For the Little Ones-to-be.
We dream to show little ones love
But we cannot carry our own,
So many children need families
And love, a blessing to be shown.
We long to make them loved and happy
To place these children in our arms
Show them comfort, family, fun
Making sure they know no harm.
We could use some help from our dear friends!
We're able to support these lives,
But the upfront cost is so extensive -

We are so excited to be walking down the aisle in July to share our vows and officially start our family together. Those that know us know we have so much love to give and we have dreamed of having a family to share this love with.
About 8 years ago, Lisa suffered from a serious bout of Transverse Myelitis, leaving permanent damage to the myelin and nerves around her spine. This illness largely complicates giving birth to her own children. Little did fate know that Lisa had always dreamed of adopting at least one child ever since she was young herself.
When we started dating, we spoke much about children, including the risks and benefits, and we both decided that we would in fact both RATHER adopt than try other ways to have children that would share our DNA. There are just so many children that have already been born that need our help and would be just as much "our children" than if we gave birth to them ourselves.
We are so grateful to have good, steady jobs that will allow us to provide for our family, but the upfront cost of adopting children can be up to $30,000 a child. We are hoping that we may be able to adopt siblings that will always have a bond from before we were all a family and we know the costs will be large for the fees, lawyers, travel, etc.
We have not decided exactly which avenue of adoption we will choose yet, but we have already started saving for these costs. We have all that we need for our house, including furniture for the childrens rooms. We simply need the love to fill those rooms.
