Love Works

We are organizing a fundraiser to support the development of programs at Liberty Meadows Farm Sanctuary to support at-risk children in Central Virginia. This includes the acquisition of the star of a recent live-action rendition of "Into the Woods", Daisy (aka Milky White), a sweet cow.

Liberty Meadows, Inc. is a non-profit animal rescue located in Amherst, VA with the goal of giving neglected and abused farm animals a second chance at life with proper nutrition, veterinary care, and LOVE. Our goal for the various programs will allow our animals to continue sharing the love that they have received back to their community.

Funds raised through this campaign will be dedicated to establishing therapy-guided interactive programs at our farm, necessary veterinary care for our rescue animals, and continued food and boarding costs.

We are partnering with our local Child Services office who has been instrumental in helping develop programs to introduce at the farm. Licensed clinical therapists will help the program’s children engage in structured therapy sessions, educational workshops, and hands-on activities with animals. As a team we hope to help these young individuals build trust, develop coping mechanisms, and learn essential life skills.
