Let's raise up our friend

Donation protected
This system is not here to support "only mothers", it is here for some illogical reason to grind them under, despite their own efforts and resilliance.
My dearest friend has found herself temporarily homeless with her two children, unable to claim benefits because she has no fixed address and because of her hard work building up an amazing business as a self employed artist and photographer.
She has ME a condition which means everyday already starts as an uphill battle fighting chronic fatigue and chronic pain.

I am asking for my friends, our circles of friends and mothers to spare as little or as much as they can, as often as they can, so she can continue to meet the needs of her kids and her self at this tough time.

She has had every possible safety net ripped from beneathe her feet and yet, she still stands, the weight of the world on her shoulders and with the additional weight of society, dragging her down.

Please let us raise this mama up.

Even if it is just £1 each week until her situation is better, or sacrificing a bottle of wine, or what ever small luxury you could do without this week, to help her.

Please share this on your facebook page and if you can each week, spare a pound, a fiver, what ever you can.  And remind your friends, our friends each week.

Thank you

UPDATE:

Wow, thank you so much to all who have supported my lovely friend.

Your kindness and love, have offered a softer landing from this tumultulous time, through raising this lovely mama's spirits and helping give her a financial safety net while she navigates the inbetweens of self employment and Universal Credit.
Lets keep this going so our friend can create as much stability for her children as they need, during this time and further lighten her load.
Even in easier times the stress on an only mama to meet every need: financial, emotional, educational, spiritual, nutritional and all the inbetweens are already huge. To meet these needs whilst inbetween financial incomes, whilst fighting your own limiting health conditions and faced with homelessness can you even imagine juggling these stresses, or contemplate the anxieties and fears that come along with juggling these stressors.

Our mama is doing just this, like a true warrior and flippin goddess.

Let's wrap this mama in the arms of our support and take some of the pressure off.

Our friend has been offered a council house in need of many repairs and decoration once she moves in. While the council carry out the main repairs she cannot move in and still faces a number of weeks with no fixed address.

Lets try and raise enough to offer her security and peace of mind once she has the keys. It will take a lot of work to make a home for them.

GETTING THE MONEY TO WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE.

I have set up withdrawls to my bank account, so I can give the money in cash to my friend and will get a receipt to show she has received the money, as when listening to my friend when she was telling me about all of the hardships she was facing, she told me she had been living off her overdraft, and I dont want all this kindness to be gobbled up, so this seems like the best way to get the money to her.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting this amazing woman and her beautiful boys.

Lets keep the ball rolling, keep sharing and lets show her that, though the system may be designed to make the single/only mama struggle and fail, our actual community isnt!

With warmest regards and so much gratitude,
