LETS HELP KEEP HALO ARTS MIAMI GOING!!
Halo Arts Miami under the direction of Pamela Canellas has been a gem in our Miami community. Halo was born from a vision of Pamela Canellas to meet the need of people in the Miami community. At the time, there was no specific place for you to come and enjoy an variety of dance healing and fitness classes or experience a sense of community. Since Halo's creation, the center was an immediate success, and Halo has brought joy to so many people that have participated in a class or attended an empowering event!
In our current year, 2020 much has changed in our city and in our world. More than ever during this pandemic we must find ways to heal from all the stress that we have all been feeling. With no way to generate income due to business closures, and the crucial need for Social Distancing, the cash reserves quickly dwindled, and Halo Arts Miami has suffered what so many businesses have encountered.
Because of the current unprecedented situation with Covid-19 one of Halo's immediate goal includes initiating a Remote Learning Program for students, providing them with a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment, allowing parents to return to work while having peace of mind that their children are in the best of care. Afterschool programs will also include Yoga, Tutoring, Art, Theater, Dance and Music.
The wonderful team at Halo is now donating their time to do everything in their power to keep Halo Arts Miami intact, and they continue to work hard to ensure Halo Arts Miami can remain a vital role in the community with what is now such uncertain times. The team is exploring every means of possible support, including federal and local grants, but as we know these funds are not guaranteed, so we are most humbly asking for your support.
We know what difficult times these are for many, and we understand there are so many organizations in need. If you are in a position to support Halo Arts Miami, we will be so very grateful, and any donations to this cause will directly contribute to the cash resources we need to address the immediate continued operation in order to further its reach into the community.
Halo's deadline to continues it's operations and outreach is September 15, 2020. Please donate today and receive a free class of your choice. :)
