Fighting to hold my children again!

Hi, my name is Lanika, and I’m a mother of three beautiful children.

This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write, but I’m at a point where I can’t keep carrying this alone. I’m in the middle of a long, painful process to finalize a divorce that will allow me to legally protect myself and, most importantly, reunite with my children—who I haven’t been able to see for over two years because of how complex and drawn-out this situation has become.

I’ve kept quiet to protect my children’s privacy, but the truth is: we’ve been separated far too long, and every day that passes is another day we lose as a family. The legal costs to move this forward are $15,000—something I simply cannot afford on my own. I’m asking, with all the humility in my heart, for help.
