A Community Land Adventure

If you have watched the video then you will have heard us talking about a certain piece of land. Sadly we didn't gather the funds we needed in time and it was sold to another buyer. Needles to say we were all gutted. More so when George said to me "I'm not going to be sad Dad, I know how sad you must feel and don't want to make it worse" That broke my heart...
We were quite deflated as I'm sure you can imagine but nothing can keep us down for long, as a family we are extremely strong. So we are back. We have our eyes on a piece of land which will allow us to for fill our dreams and help our community. 

As a family we love the outdoors. We are all out tending to our vegetables when possible and due to saving money all of our holidays have been spent in a tent in various farmers fields.
Five years ago my wife and I decided we would love to buy a little patch of land and grow as much food as possible. The idea being we could provide local homeless shelters and food banks with as much fresh food as possible.
Another reason we want the land other than growing vegetables is so we can teach local School children how to live off the land and ultimately respect their surroundings.

From the initial day to this we have saved every penny we possibly could. As the children were born we involved them in our dream and they understood why we had to save money rather than spend. Soon they were more eager for the land than we were.

We have come up with so many ideas to help the community, this is just a small list:

-Bushcraft sessions 
-Nature walks.
-Outdoor fire lighting courses.
-How to grow veg sessions,
-Healthy eating courses. Aimed at younger children.

If we can get a healthy sized area of land then we have also talked about allotting small areas of land to various local schools so that they can have school outings to grow their own veg and teach children about where veg comes from and how it is grown.

We have so many ideas however as we save the price of land seems to go up as well .
We need your help and generosity to move to the next stage of our adventure. 

Any amount will help. No amount is to big or small.
