Kindness Kits for the Homeless

My name is Emma Posey and I am 10 years old.  A few years ago my mom and I started creating and handing out what we call "Kindness Kits" to the homeless. Instead of giving money, we choose to give them a bag with healthy non-parishable food (trailmix, granola bars, apple sauce, etc.), a water bottle, chapstick, soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, tissues, one piece of candy and depending on the time of year gloves and socks. Each kindve ness costs about $4. Last year I decided I wanted to hand out 100 Kindness Kits between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I met that goal and now I'm hoping to increase it and hand out 500 Kindness Kits before Christmas. I've set this goal to help as many people as I can that don't have what I have.
