ABOUT KIKO
Kiko (Kikopey Women’s Craft Market) is a women-led non-profit organisation based in Kikopey, Nakuru, Kenya. We create sustainable livelihood opportunities for local women in Kenya.
Here, Women learn new skills and earn fair income, mothers gain financial independence and women are offered a lifeline away from exploitative or environmentally damaging work.
We train women in practical crafting and production skills, enabling them to earn independent income and lift themselves and their families above the poverty line.
KIKO'S COMMUNITY HUB
Our market is more than a craft shop — it’s a community hub. Children join in cooking classes, neighbours join workshop days and households in need receive clothing and shared meals during the holidays.
WHY WE ARE FUNDRAISING
We are raising funds to keep Kiko fully operational over the coming year while we secure long-term corporate and NGO partnerships, which are already in progress.
WHAT YOUR DONATION MAKES POSSIBLE
This support will allow us to operate without constant financial pressure, so our energy can focus on what truly matters:
Developing women’s skills
Improving product quality
Expanding our reach
Creating real economic opportunity
FROM SURVIVING TO THRIVING
This funding is about stability, growth, and dignity. It gives Kiko the chance to move from surviving — to sustaining — and ultimately to thriving.
Thank you for your time, your generosity, and your belief in this mission. All donors will receive updates on how your support is helping us continue and grow this work.
