Help a Displaced Family in Gaza Rebuild Their Life in Canada
My name is Eng. Ayman El-Ramlawi, a father, humanitarian worker, and public health specialist. I’m reaching out from a small tent in Deir al-Balah, Gaza—where my family and I now live after losing everything to war.
Two years ago, we had a modest but dignified life. My wife, a pharmacist, and I worked hard to provide a safe home and a future for our children, Zain (16) and Yazan (12). We had a house, a car, and dreams.
Today, all of that is gone.
Our current situation is in sharp contrast to the life we formerly knew. We used to live in a modest tent in Rafah, but following the invasion, we were compelled to relocate our tent and reconstruct our lives in Deir al-Balah. The everyday obstacles we faced in Rafah included onerous basics like food, which was not only sparse but also unsanitary; access to good drinking water, which was a luxury we couldn't afford; and a lack of adequate sanitation facilities. They have now become double challenges. The population has expanded dramatically. In this small region compared to Rafah, our living conditions are more perilous and susceptible to sickness.
Our Reality Now
• We live in a fragile tent with no clean drinking water, no sanitation, and no basic necessities.
• We face daily threats of disease, displacement, and violence.
• We have no money left to flee or relocate to safety.
• My son Yazan still dreams of playing football and living without fear. He asks me, “Dad, will we survive this war?”
I have no answer. Only the hope that someone out there will help us.
✈️ Our Goal: Safety and a New Beginning in Canada
We are seeking $53,000 USD to evacuate through the Rafah border and begin a new life in Canada—a place where my children can grow up free from fear, and where I can continue my work in public health and humanitarian service.
This amount will help us:
• Cover emergency travel and relocation costs
• Secure basic living expenses to start anew
• Support Zain and Yazan’s education and healing
• Rebuild our lives with dignity and purpose
Why Your Help Matters
Your donation is more than financial support—it’s a lifeline. It’s a chance for a family to escape war, rebuild, and contribute to a better world. It’s a message to my children that humanity still cares.
Please:
• Donate what you can
• Share our story
• Be part of our journey to safety
Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for believing in a future where families like mine can live, dream, and thrive again.
