Keller Williams RED Day - Day of Community Service

 

Every May, all 1100+ Keller Williams Market Centers worldwide, including their 190,000+ agents, close their businesses to give back to the Community on a day called RED Day. This year Keller Williams Realty Consultants of Coral Springs, Florida is partnering with SOS Children’s Villages Florida to work on multiple projects for our RED Day, May 12, 2022!!

 

We are seeking donations to assist our support of an amazing foster care organization in our Community!

 

 

BENEFICIARY: SOS Children’s Villages of Florida

 

SOS Children’s Villages Florida is a foster care community comprised of 13 homes housing over 43 children in the foster care system. SOS focuses on siblings with the goal of reuniting the children with their parents or facilitating  adoption of the children into a family, together, as siblings. The SOS children range in age from infant to 17 years. The children live with full-time foster care parents who are responsible for every aspect of the children's lives with the help of this wonderful organization.

 

 

RED Day Project - May 12, 2022

 

Our Keller Williams Market Center has numerous projects we will be working on simultaneously in the SOS Children’s Village community on May 12. We expect 60, 70 or more agents working together on the following projects on RED Day:

 

*Painting the interior of 2 homes

*Pressure Cleaning driveways of 13 homes and walkways

*Cleaning, organizing, building Shelving for large 10 x 20 Storage Shed

*Bathroom Makeover of *16 bathrooms*

*Kids’ Activities (e.g., games, face painting, balloons, contests)

*Dinner Meal and Dessert for all children

*Plant garden, butterfly garden and Zen garden cleanup

*Gratitude Gifts for foster parents and respite workers (15 or so adults)
*Artwork Projects - wall mural painting, activity table painting with kid hand prints

We are seeking donations to assist with the above projects and, specifically, to fund our Bathroom Makeover project and the presentation of Gratitude Gifts to the foster parents and respite workers. The bathrooms of the homes were a specific request of SOS as an area in need of big help. And naturally, the amazing foster parents who dedicate their lives to these children, should be Thanked for their tireless service, their dedication and their hearts

I, Scott Bagoon, creator of this Campaign, live in Coral Springs, Florida. I am a Realtor with the Keller Williams Coral Springs office, serve on the Agent Leadership Council (ALC) Chairing the Culture and Community Service Committee, and presently serve as a Founding Member and Director for our 501(c)(3) charity, Keller Williams Coral Springs Cares Foundation, Inc.

 

Our charitable Foundation was incorporated with the explicit purpose of, among other things, supporting charitable, educational and community outreach activities.  The intended use of the funds collected in this campaign will be used to support the activities described above.  Our Foundation has a Board of Directors that oversees the proper disbursement of funds.  The Board will consult with any professionals, beneficiaries and/or other persons, as necessary, to ensure that funds are distributed appropriately and for their intended purpose.
