Hi, I'm Kawa. I’m originally from Las Vegas, and if there's one thing you should know about me, it's that... I'm small! But I love BIG. And I love my family more than anything in the world. So much that I gathered everything I had and spent my life savings to buy them a house! This was so important to me, to see my elderly parents spend their twilight years under a roof of their own! But unfortunately, just a year after moving in, the HVAC unit completely died. Now, we knew it was nearly 30 years old going in, but I was hoping we'd have some time to save... that didn’t happen.

The problem is, my dad has Alzheimer's disease, which forced him to retire because he could not remember anything he was doing. My mom is in her 70s, and she struggles with arthritis working in a factory to pay their half of the mortgage. Meanwhile, I pay the other half of their mortgage on top of my apartment rent. I work 2 full time jobs as a Graphic Designer & Illustrator, and I also take contract work periodically as a Videographer - so at certain points of the year I am working 3 jobs, and I am tapped out.

It’s difficult to ask this, but... we need some help. Las Vegas summers reach 110 degrees, basically impossible for a senior couple to survive without air conditioning! If you have anything to spare, consider donating. Every little bit helps.
