Kahakuloa Church Restoration
Donation protected
Aloha to all,
I hope all is well with you and your ohana. As some of you may already know, our Kahakuloa Hawaiian Protestant Congregational Church was built in 1879.
After 138 years, our Halepule has taken its last breath and collapsed on the mornin
g of Sunday, June 11th, 2017.
It is a very tragic loss to our village and many hearts are broken. The memories of our church is now demolished. Beside the church is where many of our ancestors & loved ones are resting. This sacred place has so many memories to all. This is our place of worship, this is our home and our foundation still to even families that no longer resides in the village. In the past, our church has brought so many families, outer communities, & churches together joyfully.
We do understand, re-building the Church is not going to be easy. Without Man-Power, tools, knowledge, contractors, & of course finances the job cannot be done. We are kindly asking for your help. Helping with a donation or a simple click of the share button, will go along way. No donation is too small.
