Our family is reaching out for help as we support our son, Tyler, in his fight to protect his little boy, Ryder. Tyler has spent the last four years showing up for Ryder in every way possible, even changing his career to be a better father. Their bond is truly magical—Ryder is a happy, silly, and sweet four-year-old who loves soccer, is incredibly smart, and adores his dad above all. Ryder is gentle and caring, always wanting to be with his dad, and is like Tyler’s cute little shadow. Tyler helps Ryder learn and raises him with such gentleness that it makes your heart burst. Tyler is always present in Ryder’s life, making sure his son feels loved, safe, and supported every single day.

For the past four years, Tyler has paid for lawyers and legal fees to fight for Ryder’s future. Throughout this journey, Tyler and Ryder have been surrounded by a strong support system of family and friends who have offered love, encouragement, and practical help. Our extended family and close friends have stood by them, providing emotional support and stepping in whenever needed. This community has been a source of strength, helping Tyler stay focused on Ryder’s well-being and reminding him that he is not alone in this fight.

Right now, Tyler is facing a difficult custody battle that has put an enormous strain on our family. The legal process has been emotionally and financially exhausting, with attorney fees and expert witness costs piling up. Tyler has done everything he can to provide for Ryder, but the expenses are overwhelming. As parents and grandparents, we are at a loss for what else we can do to help. We are asking for emergency financial assistance to help cover these legal costs by October 5th, as the court dates are set for October 9th and 10th. Every contribution will go directly to supporting Tyler’s fight to secure a safe and stable future for Ryder.
