Support Juan’s Family Tamale Stand
Donation protected
Juan is a young tamale vendor who works every day in the valley, right next to a Superior grocery store. He’s become a familiar face in the neighborhood, always offering a warm smile and delicious homemade tamales. But behind his hard work is a story of resilience and responsibility. Juan lives with his grandmother, who lovingly prepares the tamales he sells. Together, they support their family, including Juan’s siblings, during a difficult time.
Juan’s family is facing unique challenges. Some of his relatives are undocumented immigrants, which means they are unable to work safely and are constantly worried about being seen by ICE agents. Since the ICE raids started in LA, Juan has stepped up to help provide for his family, all while continuing to go to school. The money he earns goes directly toward paying rent and buying groceries, making sure his siblings and grandmother have what they need to get by. Despite his young age, Juan carries a heavy burden, but he does so with determination and hope.
This fundraiser is to help Juan and his grandmother cover essential living expenses. Every donation will go toward rent and groceries, easing the pressure on Juan so he can focus on his education and supporting his loved ones. Your support will make a real difference for a hardworking family facing tough circumstances.
