#JOANNASTRONG Say goodbye to Esophageal Cancer!

Hi everyone!
We are organizing this gofundme for Joanna Tincher (Morreale), a beloved Aunt, wife, daughter, mother, coworker, and esthetician, among the many other titles she holds. She loves to spend time with her family, especially her neices and nephews, she is very competitive and enjoys playing board games and bingo (warning: she might say you cheat if you beat her), and is a Harry Potter and Wizard of Oz FANATIC. She loves to cook and is quite the chef! She is also an absolutely fantastic esthetician who is truly passionate about her job and loves to help people feel and look better!
Around the holidays Joanna noticed she was unable to swallow without pain and could not keep anything down. She also felt a small lump on her neck. Concerned, she scheduled a Drs appointment but with it being the holiday season she had to wait a little while to get in. New years day she decided to go in to the ER. There, she was given the life changing news: they had found masses in her neck and stomach. The next few days were filled with Drs appointments, tears, lots of phone calls, and prayers for Joanna's stealthy recovery.
A biopsy was performed, but based on the size of the mass Drs concluded almost immediately that the tumor is malignant and gave Joanna the diagnosis of stage 4 esophageal cancer. The outlook is not good, and Joanna has a tough fight ahead of her while she goes through chemotherapy, radiation, and the myriad of other doctors appointments she will need, but she is a strong and sassy Sicillian woman and won't go down without a fight!
Unfortunately, this week will be Joanna's final week as an Esthetician at Illusions. While she undergoes treatments her immune system will be weakened and as a result Joanna will be more susceptible to the Covid-19 pandemic we are currently facing. She is currently the only source of income for the household, so you can imagine the amount of stress she is under right now. She will have a tremendous amount of medical bills to pay for; she pays $85 for every Drs visit, $100 for a pet scan, and has an $8000 deductible to pay out of pocket before her insurance covers anything, further draining her financially. She also has to pay her living expenses, which are about $800/mo.
Joanna is one of the kindest people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. She is an adopted aunt to many, her nieces and nephews fight over who is her favorite, and she makes everyone feel at home, like they are part of the family. She's there to lend an ear or a hand to anyone in need, and now we want to try to give back to her during this difficult time. We are setting a goal of $25,000 to help cover her insurance deductible, drs visits, medicine or any equiptment she may need, as well as living expenses for the next few months while she's getting treatment. We would love to be able to cover that for her so the only thing she has to worry about is kicking cancers butt and getting better!

We will be providing $10 kids cuts, $20 adult cuts, $10 polish changes for toes and hands, and $10 10 minute chair massages. All proceeds will be going to Joanna directly!
