This October, Gary and I will travel to Kenya for our first humanitarian aid trip! We’ll be joining our friend Hillary, who has made this journey before, to support local communities and organizations making a real difference.

During our trip, we’ll be working with Hope 4 Kenya (H4K) and several local partners, including Wings of Hope Academy, Lanet Primary Special Needs School, the Emily Martin Domestic Violence Center, medical units, and food pantries. These organizations provide vital support in nutrition, education, therapy, shelter, and more to vulnerable children, families, and communities. We’ll be hands-on in our efforts: teaching youth about hygiene, preparing food at pantries, offering nonprofessional support at medical centers, and helping wherever we’re needed so that local leaders and experts can focus on their essential work.
