Jasmine and I are planning to travel to the Maldives on June 20th to volunteer with whale shark research. We will be living on a sailboat for two weeks, spending every day in the water alongside the sharks. Whale sharks are an understudied species and we have the opportunity to go and help learn more about these amazing creatures. The more we understand about them, the better we can help to conserve their species! However, we will be flying halfway around the world, which is never cheap. To raise money for the flights and the cost of staying on the boat, we have started making soap and putting 100% of the profits towards our trip. However, soap alone won't be able to cover the expenses. We thought that in some cases, people may want to help us with some more funds, but don't want to buy a whole bunch of soap, so that is why we are starting a GoFundMe. We are extremely grateful for any support that we can receive and look forward to an amazing experience working with whale sharks.
