I’m running for Greenwood Village City Council because I care deeply about our community and its future. For more than four decades, I’ve built coalitions, forged solutions, and stood firm when it mattered most. Today, the most important challenge we face is protecting home rule—ensuring that land use and zoning decisions remain in local hands, not dictated by state politicians. Greenwood Village should be shaped by the people who live here, and I am committed to making sure our residents’ voices guide the decisions that define our community.

Throughout my career, I’ve developed and facilitated creative solutions that address the diverse interests of all parties, always keeping our community’s goals at the forefront. My experience includes appointments by Governor Pete Wilson to the Board of the California State Fair, where I was elected Chair, and later as a commissioner of the California Horse Racing Board. I was also honored to serve on the first Board of Directors of the California Museum for Women, History and the Arts, appointed by First Lady Maria Shriver. Locally, I’ve participated in community issues, served as an election judge, and helped collect ballots in recent elections. These experiences have shaped my commitment to consensus-building and effective leadership.

My vision for Greenwood Village is to preserve our city’s unique character and ensure that decisions about our future remain in the hands of our residents. I believe that a participatory fundraising campaign allows neighbors and friends to join me in this effort, making sure our voices are heard and our values protected. Your support will help cover outreach, advertising, and events—giving us the resources to connect with voters and build a strong, inclusive campaign.
