Help Iran Pride to participate in World Pride Parade 2026

For many Persian LGBTIQ+ individuals, home was a place of fear. In Iran, living openly often means risking your safety, your freedom, or even your life. That’s why so many have had to leave everything behind—family, language, culture—to seek safety in exile. Here in the Netherlands, they’ve found a chance to live freely, but the journey to belonging is far from over.

Now, for the first time, Iran Pride organization can be seen on its own boat during World Pride in Amsterdam. We can be heard, and celebrated. But building such event in a new country, especially as a queer refugee or immigrant, comes with its own set of challenges. That’s why our Iran Pride together with Azad Queer community exists: to create a safe, vibrant space where Persian queer people can find each other, support each other, and grow together. With your help, we can make that space even stronger by showing it to the world that WE CAN!

Your donation will help us cover essential costs like boat rental, venue rentals, community support resources, event materials, outreach, and legal/administrative fees. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to a stronger, more connected, and more visible community.
