**Help Our Elderly Palestinian Neighbor "Jamal" Recover from a Tragic Accident**

Our dear neighbor and friend, Jamal Yassin, a kind and humble elderly Palestinian man living in Long Island, New York, was recently involved in a near-fatal car accident while driving home from Maryland. His vehicle crashed in Trenton, New Jersey, leaving him with a brain hemorrhage, a broken leg, and other serious injuries.

Jamal is currently hospitalized and facing a long road to recovery — one that may take weeks or even months. What makes this even more heartbreaking is that he has no family here to care for him during this difficult time.

Jamal has been working part-time at FedEx to support himself. But due to the extent of his injuries, he is unable to work, and his only means of transportation — his car — was completely totaled in the accident.

Right now, he is facing immense financial hardship with no income, no car, no immediate family, and significant medical needs. As his neighbors and fellow human beings, we feel it is our responsibility to step up and support him.
