In January we lost our wonderful friend and swimming companion Linda Robins. She swam at the pool and Lido for over 40 years, used the gym and attended pool classes. Linda’s passion was keeping the Lido open and campaigned to this end. She was instrumental in starting the early morning Lido swims.

We would like to celebrate her life by completing a team swim on the swimtag around the Isle of Wight as this is where Linda was born and lived before settling in Aldershot with her husband. For those who don’t use a swimtag we will have a sheet for you to record your lengths and add them to the total.

There will be a collection so that we can have a permanent reminder of her in the Lido grounds for the work she did to keep the Lido open in Aldershot.

We will launch the swim on the 24/05/25 when the Lido opens for the season. There will be a manned table where you can find out more about Linda, sign the memory book and make a donation if you wish either by cash or online on the donation page.
