On September 16, 2025, our hearts were shattered when Krishan Mitchell Lewis — a devoted father, beloved son, and selfless friend — passed away unexpectedly from a re-ruptured brain aneurysm. His sudden loss has left an unimaginable void in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him, especially his four beautiful children.
Krishan was more than just a provider — he was a protector, a constant encourager, and the emotional foundation of his family. He lived for his children and poured every ounce of love into raising them. Even in death, Krishan gave the ultimate gift — the gift of life. Through organ donation, his heart, liver, kidneys, and tissue have given new hope to multiple individuals across New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia:
- His heart now beats in a 67-year-old man in New York.
- His liver gave life to a 69-year-old man in Pennsylvania.
- His right kidney was received by a 60-year-old man in New York.
- His left kidney saved a 67-year-old man in New York.
- His pancreas was transplanted into a recipient in Virginia.
- His tissue donation will continue to help others for up to 5 years.
- His skin donation will aid patients for up to 2 years.
His legacy of love, strength, and generosity lives on — not only in those he saved but most importantly, in his four children:

They were his pride and joy — his entire world.
Now, these children face an uncertain future without the guidance and presence of the man who meant everything to them. As a family, we are rallying to support them during this painful transition, but we can't do it alone.
