Co-Yoga Studio space in Jamaica Queens JAN 2023

I Am Yogi Studios is a Yoga studio located in SouthEast Queens. We were designed by and for Women of Color. Just like anything great, I Am Yogi was created from a women’s pain and suffering. 

Yoga is one of the most underestimated healing methods in our community. From people knowing it to be as stillness and movement to what people don’t understand about it as it’s laws. Yoga is also treating yourself and others with kindness and respect. Two of the major laws hence why there is so much love and light in its lifestyle. 

We train Women of Color in the laws of yoga while creating a safe space for women to make their transformations. We offer resources such as licensed therapists and physical therapist to help with the process. We are determined to getting our space fully replenished with

• Yoga mats
• Plants to purify the air
• Weights and straps for continuing training 
• Bolsters and blankets for restorative & prenatal yoga 
• Installation of track lighting through out the studio
