About 25 years ago, after the events of 9/11, I wrote a poem called “I Am The American Flag.” At first, it was my way of sharing my faith, hope, love, freedom, and patriotism. But it has grown into something much deeper. As America celebrates its 250th birthday, I felt it was the perfect time to share this message with everyone. I hope it inspires, uplifts, and brings us closer together as a nation. What a wonderful time to honor our brave men and women who give so much to keep us free. What a wonderful time to give back to our heroes whose sacrifices last a lifetime… OUR DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS
This isn’t just a fundraiser. It’s an invitation. To celebrate America. To honor veterans. To remember what unites us. And to make sure the values of the American Flag continue to inspire future generations. I Am The American Flag.
⸻ THE MISSION
Our goal is simple: Bring Americans together through a message of patriotism, gratitude, faith, hope, love, and freedom. At the same time: net proceeds will benefit Disabled American Veterans.
⸻ WHY IT MATTERS
Freedom is never free. The American flag stands for sacrifice, courage, perseverance, and hope. The American flag is faith, love, hope, the pursuit of happiness and freedom. The American flag is true red, white and blue. This project exists to honor those values while supporting the heroes who defended them.
Help us reach our fundraising goal ❤️ Every little bit counts!
With the help of artist and producer J.J. Weinberg, we turned the poem into a cinematic audio performance, designed to spark reflection, gratitude, and unity. Today, we’re inviting Americans everywhere to join us in celebrating our country while supporting the brave men and women who sacrificed to protect it.
No raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or returns on investment are offered in exchange for any donations made to this GoFundMe.
