My name is Theresa. I am a single Mom being sued by a lawyer for sharing a story on Tiktok under the username Nashmomadventures to keep my daughter safe.

Theresa's stated purpose in creating these videos was to “bring awareness - both generally as to the harms of GROOMING and MANIPULATION as well as ALARMING behavior towards her minor daughter so others could navigate similar situations with greater knowledge

This lawsuit arises from a desperate mother who took necessary action to protect her daughter against two dangerous individuals who have behaved inappropriately and repeatedly attempted to turn her daughter against her. Specifically, at all times relevant to the events giving rise to this action, the Plaintiffs MANIPULATED Gracie to cease contact with her mother and follow their bizarre and disturbing house rules.

Theresa saw on social media that her daughter was in the Plaintiffs’ car on their way to Florida (when she had permission to be at another friend’s house) Being appropriately concerned that the individuals she had specifically instructed to stay away from her minor daughter were transporting her to another state without permission she quickly contacted law enforcement. 

This doesn't begin to explain the horror that followed. I shared my story publicly on TikTok in hopes that no one else ever had to endure what happened to us and to force my confused daughter to understand what was happening to her when she wasn't seeing clearly. I want other parents to be diligent in researching your "village." After sharing my story of what others did to me and my child I was sued. There was never a doubt in my mind I would fight to defend myself no matter what. I have now spent my life savings. I have extended all of the credit I had available and have now taken a loan against my home totaling $130,000. I am heartbroken to say doing what is right and keeping my child safe has me on the verge of going bankrupt after working every day for 37 years. I have to continue fighting to ensure people have the right to share what happens to them. Please donate so my daughter and I can continue to keep our home and continue doing what any parent would do if their child was in a dangerous situation. 

This situation is nothing short of a Horror Movie for any parent and unbelievably I’ve learned throughout this ordeal there are other children with similar situations. Out of hundreds if not thousands of legal documents, I will provide a summary of pages on a website being created which will share the most informative information regarding this legal nightmare that has left me traumatized emotionally, mentally and now financially. I am asking as a parent for help to continue fighting this civil matter which continues to linger into the 2nd year.
